Wouldn’t It Be Nice if Our Politicians Would Just Say “NO” to Israel?

Killing a few thousand kids is one good reason. I’m sure there are a few more.

We give Israel at least $3 billion every year. We give them even more whenever people in Gaza and the West Bank protest Israeli occupation with more than the usual vigor. This year is one of those years that the people in Gaza remind us that they’ve had enough occupation.

I’ve seen some people say that Israel is justified in bombing a concentration camp filled with children. Some people say that Israel was warned something big was coming months before that fateful day on October 7th. It’s not easy to find people who say that this entanglement America has made with Israel isn’t working for Americans.

The Israel lobby is legendary. The American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC) has a stellar track record:

WE STAND with those who stand with Israel. The AIPAC PAC is a bipartisan, pro-Israel political action committee. It is the largest pro-Israel PAC in America and contributed more resources directly to candidates than any other PAC. 98% of AIPAC-backed candidates won their general election races in 2022.
