The Hypocrisy of Asking, “Why Won’t the Arab Countries Take in the Palestinians?”

Isn’t that the same reason why Jews went to Israel?

The war in Israel reminds me that the modern Israelis are mostly descendants from four European mothers who happened to be Jews. They were the first occupiers of Palestine. With a blessing from Britain (and America), European Jews came to the land of Palestine and settled there, sometimes peacefully, sometimes violently. Mostly, violently.

It’s important to remember that the land was taken by force by a group of people who had been ejected by other people in Europe, whose descendants provide unwavering support of Israel. In spite of all that, someone on Twitter had the nerve to identify an easily observed contradiction:
