Sorry, I’ll never be a Kmart Shopper

Just some of the sad and unfortunate observations I can’t help but make every single time I go shopping.

Kmart is definitely dead. Kohl’s is walking dead. Target is festering. Best Buy still looks pretty organized, but pale. Sam's Club is the saddest place to shop. Costco is pretty happy. IKEA is Disneyland for adults.

There. I’ve said it. But that’s not all that is on my mind.

Every time I go out shopping, I see a slow, unmistakable decline. I see that we're living on borrowed time. We’ve spent far too much time admiring Trump, the Kardashians, the Clintons, Beyonce, anyone in the NBA, NFL, and Major League Baseball, movie celebrities, and anyone who came this close to kissing Trump’s ring.

Everything I can buy in America was made or touched by someone in another country. Mostly, China. I’m wearing a jacket as I sit here in my basement, and the jacket was made in Vietnam where the typical daytime temperature is 80 degrees and humid.

All of the electronics I use are made in China. The furniture was machined in China, assembled in my living room. We don’t make much of anything I use in America.

Another thing I see in America is just how rotund we are, and we keep eating. Go to any food…
