It’s interesting to see that Medium is so focused on getting people to use their UI instead of letting us use Markdown in the markdown editor of our choice, and then pasting the text we wrote.

On Steemit, where I’ve been posting since July, 2016, they embrace Markdown and encourage people to use it. They have a WYSIWYG editor that makes it easy to see a preview of what you’re posting.

If Steemit can do it, is it really that hard for Medium to do it?
