I will let the other points sail until I have time for a longer response. But I just want to hit a point that you made towards the end. I see that you think that Trump should be the real target. In many ways, he should be. But Biden is not the silver bullet. Even Sanders will tell you he is no savior, something that a lot of people are painting Biden to be.
Trump is just a pimple on the problem. As I’ve said many times my articles this year, Trump is a symptom of the problem. Trump saw a call for change and he ran with it. I’m not saying that I’m a Trump supporter, I’m most certainly not as anyone can gather from my writings.
But I do wish to dispel this belief that removing Trump will solve the problem. Removing Trump is a tiny fraction of what must be done. Getting rid of the rot in both parties, well, that’s a much bigger problem that I don’t see Joe Biden or Trump talking about.
I do see that with Bernie Sanders. In Sanders, I see someone who is dedicated to removing the corruption of our politics. If I saw that in Biden, I’d be all over it and I’d be writing about it. Sorry. I don’t see that at all in Biden.
If you say Biden won fair and square, I have seen exit polls that say otherwise. If you say Biden is the solution to Trump, I have 40 years of history that say otherwise. And if the polling is suppressed, skewed in any way, Biden will almost certainly lose without accurate information. We saw that in 2016. There is no reason to believe that it won’t happen again.
I sincerely hope that the Democrats can get a handle on this one, but I’m not seeing it. I see too many people at the top of the party fighting over money rather than for our people.
I’m willing to keep an open mind, and I will submit that past performance is not an indicator of future results. But the evidence that I’ve seen says that Biden will make American 2015 again.
