All three of those resources above were inspired or written by Dr. Ross W. Greene, PhD. He has worked with kids for 40 years and has found that challenging behavior in children is a result of a lack of or lagging skills. Challenging behavior is the sign of a problem that kids are trying to solve. With a little collaboration between child and adult, they learn the skills to solve those problems.
In your article, I see some similarities here to the work of Dr. Greene. Thank you for sharing your perspective.
